How is the module structured over the training week?
Each module runs across five days, combining classroom briefings on signal theory with hands-on time in our control room and on location with camera crews.
Do trainees work with real transmission equipment?
Yes. Every learner operates the same vision mixers, encoders and OB van equipment used on live news and sports broadcasts across the UK.
Is there a practical assessment at the end?
Trainees deliver a supervised live feed from camera through to distribution, assessed by a senior broadcast engineer before certification.
Can a module be delivered on our own site?
Most modules can be run at your newsroom, studio or outside broadcast base, subject to a technical survey by our operations team.
